Cole's Peak Mohair/ Wool Blend - Sport Weight Yarn

This yarn offering is a blend of our Climate Beneficial Fine Rambouillet Wool and Mohair from Angora goats. The yarn is a 3 ply sport weight made using 88% wool and 12% mohair. The mohair adds longer fiber length which strengthens the yarn.  3 ply undyed white or Marled Sport Weight Yarn, 310 Yards, 4 oz. skein. Suggested needle size 3-5, 23-26 stitches/4 inches.

This yarn is made in Buffalo Wyoming at Mountain Meadow Wool Mill and the Dyed skeins are naturally dyed by hand in our studio. 

The goats belong to Lani’s son Cole who uses them for fire grazing across the overgrown landscapes of Northern Nevada and California.  The name of the yarn came from a mountain peak above Eagleville called Cole's Peak.
