Lani’s Lana is thrilled to offer Bare Ranch Wool Fabric, made of premium Rambouillet wool sourced from our family ranch, raised with Climate Beneficial™ land management practices, and woven by Huston Textile Company in Rancho Cordova, CA.  We are connecting the supply chain dots between ranchers and artisans, raw product, and fashion.

This Balanced Twill Rambouillet Wool Fabric  is 54 inches wide and 8.5 ounces per square yard. Rambouillet Wool produces a soft, medium weight fabric that is ideal for col weather. It has nice drape and would be perfect lighter coating uses, blazers, sportswear jackets, skirts, and more! *Lava is only 44 inches wide 

Snow - Snow is undyed and in its natural state it is reminiscent of the Rambouillet sheep in winter, blending in with the snowy backdrop. 

Lava - Lava dyed with Indigo and Cochineal is named after the high desert lava rock that we see in rock outcroppings throughout Northeastern CA and Northwest NV. 
It is a dark gray with purple/burgundy tones, just like the Lava colored yarn!

Dark Sky - Dark Sky is named after the dark skies in Northeastern California and Northwest Nevada. Our corner of the world is known for its dark skies at night and is a dark sky destination due to the low population density in our area. 

Madder - Madder is named after the popular dye plant that produces red to orange shades. Lovely shade of rust that transitions across all seasons. 

Shale - Shale, the undyed blend of natural colored wool, is named after the shale rock common in our area. The resulting fabric is a great neutral gray that can go anywhere.

Charcoal - Charcoal is an undyed blend of colored wool named for darker coals found after a fire. This is only offered in plain weave and is in limited quantity.
