This collaboration between California Cloth Foundry and Lani’s Lana ~ Fine Rambouillet Wool is an effort to bring Local Wool and Local Cotton together in a knit fabric that showcases the beauty that can be created when we work together. Northern California Fibershed Cooperative is our connection and we brought them in as partners in an effort to have a truly locally made and sourced product that the Fibershed CO-OP could also sell to benefit the programs that they offer. We hope this is the first of many of these collaborations between Fibershed producers. I'm excited about offering this fabric to our maker community. A knit like this has been a dream come true!

About the Cloth:

Climate Beneficial Collaborative Cloth a double-faced cut and sew knit fabric is reversible. Designed with beauty, quality and our skin in mind. The weight, surface design and texture  intended to reflect a casually-luxurious ‘boiled wool’ side, with a lovely pique-textured cotton face for reversibility.

Contents:

Our USDA certified CA Cleaner Cotton™ is grown by Gary and Marie in the San Joaquin Valley using non-GMO seed and farmed with best practices of sustainability and biological cultivation techniques.

CA Cleaner Cotton is blended with NM Organic Cotton – both are USDA certified organic cottons, supporting clean air, water, and soil.

Lani’s Lana ~ Fine Rambouillet CA wool that is Fibershed certified climate beneficial through land and animal management practices that sequester carbon and help reverse the effects of climate change
