Natural Wool Yarn and Fiber
  • Home Camp Shale Worsted Weight Yarn on Cone

This yarn is made from wool sourced from the Bare Ranch in NV/CA and from our very close neighbor.  It is Rambouillet Wool from the Black/Colored sheep that we use as markers to help keep track of the sheep.

It is a light silvery gray color and made by blending natural white wool with natural black wool.  When put up on a cone, the yarn will bloom a lot after it is washed.  Please swatch after washing to obtain correct gauge.  840 yards per pound after washing.  Suggested needle size 5-8, 18-24 stitches/4 inch.
