This unique yarn was naturally dyed in the studio at Warner Mountain Weavers in Cedarville, CA. with Black Eyed Susan, a plant that we grew in our dye garden and harvest from a neighbor's garden. This yarn was dip dyed to create an interesting varigated effect. It was so much fun to dye!! I'm calling it Wind in the Willows because it reminds me of the wind blowing in the willows!! It is a 3 ply sport weight Rambouillet wool yarn with 300 yards/4 oz skein. Suggested Needle size is 3-5, 23-26 stitches/4 inches.
Hand Wash Gently. Fibershed Certified, Climate Beneficial TM.
The wool for this line is sourced from the Bare Ranch in California, scoured and combed at Chargeurs Top Maker in Sounth Carolina and spun at Worsted Spinning New England in Maine using a combed preparation. This technique ultimately reduces piling of your finished product. These yarns are truley a luxurious product that you are sure to love, just as they are made with love!!
